Pacific MMI is a national insurance company operating throughout Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Region. The company was established in 1998, through a joint venture between Motor Vehicle Insurance Limited (the Motor Vehicle Insurance Trust) and Allianz New Zealand Limited. The Joint Venture took control of the insurance portfolio previously operated by the Niugini Insurance Corporation.

We operate from our conveniently located office in the National Capital District in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Pacific MMI is a registered general insurance company under the Insurance Act 1995, and a registered life insurance company under the Life Insurance Act 2000. We are a member of the PNG Insurance Council Inc., and a member of the Joint Member Committee (JMC) Life Insurance Inc.

Pacific MMI provides a range of personal, commercial and corporate insurance products through selected Insurance Brokers, Business Partners, and direct to the Public. We have expertise in all classes of personal, commercial and corporate insurances. We provide medical, motor, personal accident, group plans for special affinity and special interest groups, and life insurance, mortgage protection, term life and workers compensation.
